A little over two years ago we were blessed with our first child a little girl. She was born with amazing amount of hair. I began making her little garden inspired hair clips since I wasn't able to find all the unique colors and styles that I wanted in local boutiques or online. My little crafty projects for my daughter grew into gifts for friends and family and eventually into a little business with an expanding demand for more than just hair clips.

I opened my Etsy shop to sell to a larger base of fans. The inspiration for my shop's name was inspired by my favorite childhood book, written by Sandra Boyton, about two french cats.

I am recently joined by my uber stylish, amazingly artistic and very beautiful cousin who lives in San Francisco. We grew up about 10 miles apart in Minnesota and in the last several years moved across the country. We are now blessed with the connection of our business. I am excited to see all the creative ideas she has to has to add to the Chloe and Maude brand.
